John Joseph O'Connell, M.D.

Founder & Chief Scientific Officer

John Joseph O'Connell, M.D. is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Fibro-Resolve, Inc. A physician-scientist and retired Army officer, he is the primary architect of the firm’s proprietary Frequency-Modulated Tumor Treating Fields (FM-TTFields) technology.

A recognized authority in the field, Dr. O'Connell has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications exploring the mechanisms of TTFields technology, as well as research in radiation physics and clinical oncology. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. O'Connell brings over 25 years of experience as a board-certified Radiation Oncology specialist.

A West Point graduate and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Joel oversees the fiscal architecture of the firm, drawing on extensive experience managing nine-figure operating budgets, asset portfolios and complex institutional operations.
