Daniel Edward O'Connell, III, MBA
Daniel Edward O'Connell, III is the Chief Executive Officer of Fibro-Resolve™, Inc. A decorated retired Air Force officer with more than 30 years of leadership experience across defense, intelligence, and advanced engineering organizations, he brings to Fibro-Resolve™ the operational rigor and executive discipline required to scale a life-sciences venture from concept to commercial impact.
A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and holder of a Master of Business Administration, Daniel most recently served as Engineering Director at CACI International, where he led a matrixed department of over 200 senior engineers supporting mission-critical Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs. Prior to that role, he held full executive accountability for CACI's Counter-UAS division, overseeing a program portfolio exceeding $200 million in annual revenue — a track record that reflects direct experience managing the financial, operational, and human capital demands of a high-growth technology business.
Earlier in his career, Daniel served as Director of the U.S. Central Command Branch at the National Reconnaissance Office, where he coordinated 42 programs across an $800 million budget and established the NRO's Forward Support Liaison Officer Program across seven locations in Iraq and Afghanistan. His experience navigating federal acquisition regulations, multi-agency compliance frameworks, and government oversight parallels the regulatory discipline that governs medical device development and commercialization.
Working in close coordination with the Chief Scientific Officer, Daniel directs Fibro-Resolve's strategic growth, partnership development, and commercial pathways for the FM-TTFields technology platform — translating innovative research into a scalable, high-impact medical venture.
